Weekly Club Notes 23.10.2017

Congratulations to Errol Agnew and Mike Hill who at our AGM were re-elected President and Deputy President respectively. Sandra Smith is the new ladies Competition Secretary with Kevin Williams her men’s counterpart. Robyn Gobey remains Treasurer.
Subs are due and the new fee structure is on the board. It is important that at least all NIBA and BSA fees are paid by end November. Invoices can be obtained at the Club. Payment can be made at the bar or by EFT.
Well done to Keith Harcombe, Mervyn Everton, Sandra Everton and Triston Everton who won the annual Eddles Barloworld mixed fours. Kevin Williams with three players from Alexandra Park finished second.
Our October E&C Charcoal Breakfast pairs takes place this Saturday at 8.30. Phone Bruce at 0718922082 with new entries.
The next Wednesday fours sponsored by Polly Shorts Pick n Pay and J Leslie Attorneys is at 8.30 November 1.
Get your entries in early for our annual Atholl Wood men’s fours on November 25 and 26 as a number of Durban sides have already entered. Phone Carol 0824942022 or Kevin 0793276288.
All bowlers are welcome at our formal tabs in at 8.30 Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Informal bowls on Fridays at 2pm and Sundays at 9.30 is available to everyone. Woods are available and coaching can be arranged. Last Sunday lucky draw chicken winners were Desray Howard, Paul Fletcher and Errol Agnew with Ananda Mustard sipping on the presidents first touch free drink.
Our 6pm Friday attendance draw stands at R300 with a a meat draw sponsored by Save Butchery and an evening meal offer.
Our kitchen is open Tuesdays to Sundays for breakfast and lunch with Sunday lunch being a traditional roast for R60.
Curry and lasagne is on offer Thursday evenings to eat in or take away.
