Weekly Club Notes 04.6.2018

Keith Harcombe did MBC proud at the Niba Open Mens Masters where he won his section of six in unbeaten fashion. In a tense final he went down 21-20 to the other section winner, Laylon Howard.
Good luck to our bowlers at the All Natal pairs to be played at various venues down the south coast this weekend.
Rod Braithwaite and Gnagna Moodley won the final round of the Surelink Wealth T T drawn 2.4.2 pairs followed by Egon von Mayer and Wendy Lumley. The accumulated points winners after three rounds were Rod and Gnagna followed by Egon and Wendy with Charles Carr and Heinz Venter third.
All bowlers are welcome at our formal tabs in at 8.30 Tuesdays and Thursdays (T T bowls).

Skills development on Fridays at 3.30pm is open to all our bowlers to improve and monitor our skills.
Members are encouraged to arrange and complete club competition matches.
Informal bowls on Fridays at 2pm is open to everyone. Sunday bowls at 9.30 is also informal and provides an opportunity for new bowlers to learn from experienced bowlers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Woods are available at the club. Last Sunday lucky draw chicken winners were Duncan Parsons, Chris Muncaster and Rodney Hoskins with Charmaine Grayson sipping on the presidents first touch free drink and taking home the ladies first touch chocolates.
Price friendly and tasty meals are on offer for breakfast and lunch from Tuesdays to Sundays. Thursday evenings offer quality curry and lasagne to eat in or take away.
Stan Webb won R400 at our weekly 6pm Friday attendance draw which now stands at R100. All members are entered automatically but must be present to win. The evening includes a popular meat draw sponsored by Save Butchery and fine fare at pleasant prices prepared by our kitchen.
